Many of the paintings on this page are done en plein air. I find painting outdoors a mediating experience that brings me close to nature. Light, shadow, wind, clouds, smells - all envelops and influences you. My job as an artist to distill, process and put the way I feel and see on canvas.

Still life paintings are interesting in its own way. It's all about the artist's relationship with the subjects, the light, the untold story.

"Wooly Bear and Robin"
I love painting portraits. It's the most challenging and most rewarding experience!

Human figure is beautiful, what else can I say?!
Photography is something I've been doing since I was 5 years old. Both my grandfather and my father were into photography and taught me how to use a film camera to take my first pictures, how to process black and white film and how to print my own photos. I'm grateful for the experience I had and very glad to live in the digital era - things are so much easier these days!
